Turn on captions Open panels
(0:04) -Locate the ID tag under one of the sinks: this identifies the side of the station you must open to access plumbing
-Using a H4 allen key, remove bolts from top and bottom panel on that side.
-Also remove bottom panel on opposite side (this will help with leveling)
Level the station (0:29)
-Using a level, make sure all sides of the station are leveled. This is essential for stability of the station and for all sinks to drain properly.
-Loosen the nut on the inside of station for each of the 4 legs
-Using an adjustable wrench, loosen & tighten the nut under the station for each of the 4 legs to adjust its height
-Make sure the station is leveled and stable
Add new filter (0:41)
-Using the filter key, loosen the filter housing
-Take out the old filter and empty water from housing (if applicable) -Unpack the new filter
-Ensure the two rubber O-rings are in place
-Place the new filter in the housing, centered on the cylinder
-Align the filter housing O-ring and secure the housing with the key.
Fill up, plug & turn on chillers (1:50)
-Take off the round black caps off each chiller -Fill up the chillers to the fill line
-Use water with total mineral concentration between 150-350 ppm Do not use hard water.
Do not use distilled water.
-If you are unsure, test your water, or use natural spring bottled water (you can look up the mineral concentration online to be sure)
-Replace the round black caps
-Plug in the chillers using a 3-prong 120V extension cord or outlet.
-Put the 3 chillers in “ON” position
-Wait a few seconds for the chillers to turn on. You can verify by listening or placing your hand on the chillers to make sure they are working. This can take a few seconds before they turn on.
Incoming water (3:15)
-Plug the food
- Grade (NSF) hose into the station, and into the water source
-Place the main valve on the station to “OFF”
Position Grey water drain (3:20)
-Connect your grey water drain (heavy duty 2” backwash hose, 2” pvc pipe, or other 2” ID hose) to the flexible elbow
-Connect the elbow to the main drain underneath the station
-Tighten the clamp
-Direct your grey water drain towards a nearby drain, ditch, or any area ready to receive drain water. connection overview*
Turn on the water source (4:16)
-Turn on the water at the main source
-Turn on the main valve on the station
-Flush the water
-Flush the system by running water through the faucets
-It is normal to have air bubbles at the start, once the air is out, the flow will be constant
-Flush the system for 1-2 minutes (approximately 3 gallons) -Make sure to test all faucets
Check for leaks (4:34)
-Check inside the station for leaks
-Verify all along the incoming water line : main valve, filter housing, manifold, chiller connections, faucets, etc
-Verify the drains for leaks: near the sinks, grey water manifold (black, under chillers) and main drain connection Close the station
(4:43) -Place the panels back on the station
-Replace the bolts, and tighten them in place Install Umbrellas (5:01)
-Install the umbrellas using 2 bolts per side
-Push the umbrella upwards before tightening the bolts
